Good pizza, convenient location, and friendly staff - all the makings of a great neighborhood pizza place. You gotta love the local pizza place. Lovecchio's is the quintessential mom-and-pop pizza parlor, conveniently located right next to a beer distributor. Ordering through Yelp's EAT24 App, I was able to pick up the pizza is approximately 20 minutes during dinner hours. The parking lot is really small, and backing out you need to turn in the street, so keep your eyes peeled for traffic coming from both directions. The pizza itself was very good - my girlfriend and I got the 16" Hawaiian Pizza and added hot peppers all for around $20. I paid for the whole thing through the app and picked it up from a very jokey staff. The pizza was really good - solid crust, lots of toppings, and the right amount of pizza sauce. My only complaint was the crust was a bit soggy in the center. Of course I'm nitpicking as the pizza was still delicious. Overall, I plan on coming here as often as I can as my go-to for pizza.

A little pricy compared to most pizza shops, but its worth it because the pizza is that much better. The ratio of sauce to cheese is perfect. It's a thin crust pie and its delicious. Plain and simple Lovecchio's Pizza is toip notch in the area.

Lots of items on the menu but I think their primary focus is pizza. They have chicken wings, fries, burgers, Philly cheesesteak, pasta dishes, sandwiches, etc, etc. we got their pepperoni pizza and another pizza with green peppers and sausage. The second was better, but both seemed a little bland. I really remember the tomato sauce being out of this world but was kind of disappointed. It was still good though.

We came here deciding to order some pizzas to go while in Bryn Mawr. It had the best reviews near the hospital so we tried it out. Their specialty pizzas interested us. The dough was hard as a rock. Not what we expected from the "best pizza." Don't bother If you want a real pizza with good dough and fresh ingredients.

Lovecchio's is pretty standard pizza. Greasy, filling, chewy crust, big slices, ample red sauce... everything you'd expect from a go-to pizza place. The staff is pretty friendly, and once when their credit card machine wasn't working they gave me $1 off because I went to get cash. As others have said it's right next to a beer distributor, so if you're looking for pizza and beer you really can't go wrong. Overall this is not the kind of gourmet pizza place you go for specialty artichoke-mushroom-goat-cheese combinations, but it's a place you find yourself gravitating towards for an easy take-home dinner option. If you save 10 of the cut-out coupons on the boxes you get a free pizza, which I have yet to accomplish. Too bad I still can't pronounce "Lovecchio's."

Simple traditional pizza joint. Huge slices, everyone is super friendly. Pizza is great. Maybe just a little greasy and a just a little salty, depending on your taste, but definitely delicious. If you want great no frills pizza, this place is great.

Love, love, love Lovecchio's!!! The pizza is delicious, light and fresh with just the right crust. Simple, but magical. We normally order late night after class and the workers know us by name. If you're looking for a great local pizza place, Lovecchio's will change your life!

You can't go wrong with Lovecchio's. just as you walk in you are greeted by friendly, animated staff members. Right next door is Bryn Mawr beverage, where you can buy a cheap drink for an unbelievably low price. Parking is always available within a 60 foot radius of the door. Don't want to pick up? their delivery men will deliver anywhere without blinking an eye. Anything here is delicious. Their specialties are the large pizza steak, their white pizza (if you're into that), and their BBQ chicken pizza. For the most part their prices are reasonable, and you can always find something you'll like. I really appreciate this long time family run business. I can't think of a negative aspect, because they really do run this place so well.

I'm torn about this place. On the one hand, it brings back memories and occupies this rare spot in my mind where I can think about something related to high school and not suddenly become deeply depressed. My current relationship to the business stands with it being my favorite local pizza place, with some of the best topping combinations and quickest delivery around. Once an order came with pizza not how my mom wanted it, so I called to complain and they came right back soon after with a free replacement to make her happy. They also have coupons on (some of) their boxes...if I ever collect ten of them I can get a free pizza. On the other hand, I feel a bit like I'm cheating on the place my family always orders from, which they prefer but I do not particularly enjoy. Also, I feel disappointed in myself AND the business, because I still stick with Lovecchio's through their seeming disdain and spitefulness - some nights I have called for delivery and I can hear the person pick up the phone and hang it up again. I'm not sure if they don't want business, if they're too busy, if the phone slipped...but I called back and it happened again. And then I called back to no answer. And then I called back a while later and they answered like nothing had ever happened. Also, another time I called and they were out of ingredients for one style of pizza (sausage - how do you run out of sausage?!). And finally, I drove by the location on my way home around 9pm one night they were supposed to still be open and they were shut; not sure if they closed early or were never open that day... Weird business practices, but really good pizza for the area.

Because I'm both car-less and lazy, this review only pertains to my experience with delivery. I've ordered Lovecchio's pizza by way of GrubHub on a number of occasions. The delivery guys have always been friendly and good-humored, even with my inability to provide useful directions to the entryway of my apartment complex, which typically results in the unlucky employee taking a labyrinthine journey around the building. The food has always arrived rapidly, in a fresh and piping hot state - to the point I'm almost convinced they've built ovens into their cars so they can hang outside your dwelling and cook your order there. There's clearly no other logical explanation. Pizza is the usual semi-greasy, thin crust type you'd expect from a local, no-frills pizza joint. While I've had pizza I've enjoyed more from other pizza places, Lovecchio's is overall a solid choice for a quick and satisfying delivery pizza on the Main Line.

Consistently good pizza. It's New York style, sauce is solid, cheese is fresh, pepperoni has some spice to it. And I like the people who work there. It's the best pizza of its kind in the area. The sandwiches are above average pizza shop fare too. there are a few seats if you're so inclined but for me, this is a take-out joint. I'm happy to have them in the neighborhood.

Easily the best pizza on the mainline -- thin, crispy crust with a delicious tomato sauce. You really don't even need to play around with toppings as a large cheese pie will do the trick. Haven't checked out the sandwiches but the word around town is that they do a killer meatball and chicken parm hoagie. Delivery can be a bit slow at times but you might as well go pick up as they are located next to bryn mawr be. Grab a large pie and a case of natural light beer and you are set to go.

Lovecchio's is a true family pizzeria where both staff and customers all seem to be a part of the family. Excellent, very fresh and light-tasting pizza with wonderful sauce is Lovecchio's staple, yet an extensive menu and capable flexibility make the place more of a Cuccina Italiana than anything else... Lovecchio's is MY pizza joint. You know, we all have one that is OURS. Well, this one is mine. I just love their pizza, the people, the location... I grew up nearby and have frequented every other place in reach, both take-out and delivery... While Pizza Palace has a pan-style pizza that get's some of the family going, Piece-A-Pizza offers a hip/hippie/Bobo pizza and a more trendy stay-in atmosphere, Pizzi's is good for truly greasy cheesy stuff that stoners and drunks on the bar strip swear by, and American Pie (formerly Acapulco) is the cheapest deal in town and open until the bars close... but Lovecchio's is the freshest, lightest, most guilt-free pizza in Bryn Mawr. An added bonus: although not abundant, there is ample parking directly in front of the storefront for pick-up, a commodity that sets Lovecchio's apart from most of it's competitors on Lancaster Ave.

Probably the best pizza on the Main Line (though candidly that's not saying much).

The BEST french fries, pasta, and pizza at Villanova. If you haven't been there you really are missing out. I lived within walking distance for 2 years and ate there almost every weekend. The people that work there are always friendly too. Don't try to eat there though, there's only one table and it's wicked awkward. Also they've got great Super Bowl packages, perfect for big groups.

Lovecchios is hands down the best pizza restaurant on the Main Line. When my office was in Bryn Mawr I had lunch there several times a week. The pizza is amazing. I've watched them make their pies from scratch. The ingredients are always fresh and the mozzarella they use is premium grade cheese, not the economy grade stuff many places use. If you want something really special try the white garlic pizza. Now that I'm in Ardmore, I still go to Lovecchios for lunch and dinner....passing 10 other pizza places along the way. The sausage parmigiana is delicious in both sandwich and dinner platter incarnation. The tuna hoagie is fresh and tasty, and you can watch them grill up any number of meals right before your eyes. The service is always warm and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The Lovecchios have done an incredible job of bringing an authentic taste of Italy to the Main Line. Go once and you'll be hooked.
